48th Radley Good Friday Walk
22 April 2011
This year’s race from the Bowyer Arms Radley to Redbridge in Oxford and back took place in glorious sunshine with temperatures creeping into the 20s. |

The start of the 49th race.
The field quickly begins to spread out…
with the serious competitors quickly taking the lead.

But the rest of the field is still not far behind.

…well most of it anyway. This group seems content to take their time.

9th Radley Triangle 2011
For younger participants and those who favoured a shorter walk there was the 9th Radley Triangle – down over the railway bridge to Lower Radley, around the Lower Radley loop and back. |

Some participants seem intent on getting round as quickly as possible….

…while others are out to enjoy the event.

As the crocodile of walkers, dogs and pushchairs descends towards Lower Radley, there is not much room for other traffic.
A total of £115.58 was raised for the Village Fete Fund. |
