The Bowyer Arms will again be the starting line for Radley’s annual Good Friday Radley Walk (and the more recent “Triangle Walk” which is perfect for little ones and families). If you don’t know what it’s all about, take a look here
All charity monies raised on the day are in aid of the FRIENDS OF RADLEY PRIMARY SCHOOL and RADLEY YOUTH CLUB.
More information will be posted in the village shop and the pub Bowyers nearer the time – and you can also check the pub’s Facebook page for updates.
The pub will be open from 9am on the day for drinks, breakfasts and walkers’ registrations. The first walk sets off at 10am.
Throughout the day there’ll be family-friendly charity stalls the pub garden (where you can relax while the children enjoy our climbing frame, slide, and watch the trains go by). There’ll also be charity pool, Aunt Sally and darts competitions aswell as raffles and tombolas (with prizes generously donated by local people and companies).
Food is served at the pub all day until 9pm. There will be live music from 8pm and the bar will be open until 1am.
How can you take part? Just come along in your walking shoes in the morning or pop into the pub during the day. Your village needs you! Come along for a village tradition, a great family event, to meet your neighbours and the wider village community and to raise some money for Radley children.
