Accessibility
help
There
are many ways in which you can change your browser, computer,
keyboard and mouse settings to make websites more accessible
to you such as:
- Making text larger in your browser
- Magnifying the screen
- Making the mouse pointer easier to see
- Using your keyboard instead of your mouse
- Using assisted technologies such as a screen
reader.
For example,
to make text larger in both Internet Explorer
and Firefox:
- Press 'Ctrl' and '+' to increase the text
size.
'Ctrl' and '0' returns you to the default 'normal' size.
Alternatively
you can set a minimum text size for all pages
you visit as follows:
- Internet Explorer: select
'Text Size' from the 'View' menu and choose your preferred
text size (largest, larger, medium, smaller and smallest).
- Firefox: select 'Options'
from the 'Tools' menu, select the 'Content' tab and then
click on the 'Advanced' button in the Fonts & Colours
box. Click on the 'Minimum font size' box and select the
required font size. Click on OK and then OK again.
