Radley History Club

Radley History Club meets on the second Monday evening of each month (apart from August) at 7.30 pm in the main hall of Radley Primary School. The Club’s aims are to:

  • study the history of Radley and the surrounding area
  • pursue any historical activity (including genealogical research) that the members may desire from time to time.

The Club organises a series of speakers on local and historical topics for its meetings. In July, a visit or tour of a local place of interest is often arranged. New members and guests are welcome. Visit the Club’s website for more information or contact Richard Dudding (chairman) on 01235 520611.

The Club has an impressive archive of materials and maps about the Radley area in the past and the people who lived here. It is also building up a library of audio recordings of interviews with older residents telling their memories. These recordings are available for purchase at £5 per CD. Please see the Club’s website for a full list and details of how to order a copy.

The Club celebrated its 20th Anniversary in May 2017.
