Compendium of WW2 memories published

Radley History Club has made a PDF collection of the popular WW2 memories assembled by Christine Wootton, former Club Chairman. The PDF (2.3 MB) is downloadable from the Oral History page of the Radley History Club website. It is in written form, based on interviews from the oral history archives and material acquired by Christine during research on other topics. https://www.radleyhistoryclub.org.uk/oral-history/#WW2
The accounts are grouped into eight categories, the largest of which is about life in the farming village of Radley (then in Berkshire) during WW2. In addition to fascinating personal memories and photos, there are also accounts that describe a particular subject such as how the Women’s Institute fared in wartime.
