Consultation on proposed traffic calming features and puffin crossing in Kennington Road

OCC is consulting on the following proposals for Kennington Road in Radley: a) to construct traffic calming features comprising of 9 pairs of speed cushions from between Sandford Lane southwards to Sugworth Lane, and b) install a Puffin Crossing (signalised crossing for use by pedestrians only) north of Pebble Hill.  OCC says that the proposals are being put forward in order to help improve road safety in the area in response to the adjacent residential development.

The proposed Traffic Scheme has been advertised today in the Oxford Times; Thursday 25 July 2019, and details are also available to view on OCC’s consultation pages at the address below:


As stated on the notice, any objections or other representations on the proposal should be submitted by Friday 23 August 2019.
