47th Good Friday Walk 2010

The race from the Bowyer Arms Radley to Redbridge in Oxford and back started in weak sunshine though the rain came on with a vengance later on in the day.

8th Radley Triangle 2010
For younger participants and those who favoured a shorter walk there was the 8th Radley Triangle - down over the railway bridge to Lower Radley, around the Lower Radley loop and back. The skies were overcast but this didn't seem to dampen people's spirits.

The field soon spread out as everyone headed down to Lower Radley.

A total of £105 was raised after event for the Radley Village Fete Fund.

47th Good Friday Walk : 14 entrants

Joint winners: Philip Jeacock and Mark West in 2 hours 7 minutes 43 seconds

3rd: Peter Wiblin

4th: Stuart Twinn

5th: Charlie McCarthy

6th Liz Mildenhall - winner of the First Lady Cup in 2 hours 21 minutes 31 seconds

7th/8th: Elaine Brew and Kathyrn Snook

9th/10th: Kathy Lines and Lorraine Chapman

11th/12th: Ken Hamp and Denis Standen

13th/14th: Colin Smith and Neil Porter

4th Half Walk : 5 entrants

1st: James Marrable in 1 hour 37 minutes 40 seconds

Joint 2nd: Harvey Ball and Josh Jefferies

4th: Ray Dixon

8th Radley Triangle: approximately 60 entrants

1st walker: Shannon Russell

All finishers were awarded 'a chocololate treat' sponsored by Radley Youth Club.
