Foxborough Road temporary road closure and no waiting restriction 28 June for 3 days

Oxfordshire Highways have given notice that because of road surfacing works Foxborough Road will be closed from Whites Lane to Stonhouse Crescent from 28th June for 3 days.  Bin collection will not be affected.  Buses will use St Jame Road where there will be temporary bus stops. more here.

Temporary Road Closure and “No Waiting” restriction at Radley, Foxborough Road on 28 June 2017 for 3 days (08:30 – 16:30)

In the interests of public safety it will be necessary for Oxfordshire County Council to close the road and impose a ‘No Waiting’ restriction as detailed above in order to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works. 

A temporary Notice is being made to implement the temporary closure and “No Waiting” restriction and will operate on the days shown above.

The “No Waiting” restriction means that vehicles will need to be removed from the highway where there are in place yellow “No Waiting” cones.

Please note Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices can last up to 5 consecutive days only.

Please note that access routes will depend on exactly where the works vehicles are at any time and may need to be negotiated with the gang on site as necessary.

A copy of the drawing showing the extent of the closure, restriction and also the alternative routes for traffic is attached.
