Local Elections 2011

On the 5th May, elections will be held for District and Parish Councils.

In the Radley ward, there are three nominees standing for election to a single seat on the Vale of White Horse District Council. They are (in alphabetical order of surname)

Eric Davies (Con.)

Christopher Henderson (Green)

Bob Johnston (Lib.Dem.)

Ten councillors have been nominated to stand for 11 seats on the Parish Council. This means that the election is uncontested. The Parish Council will coopt a further person to fill the vacancy. If you are a resident of the parish or its environs, and wish to be considered for co-option, you should contact the Parish Clerk.

At the same time as these elections, a referendum will take place on a possible change of the voting system for future parliamentary elections.
The polling station will be at Radley Village Hall
