On 16 July 2006 at Youlbury House, Boar's Hill, Dr Evan Harris MP presented Stanley Baker with a Community Award for public service in recognition of his voluntary work for Radley and the larger community. Stan created and maintains websites for Radley Church, Radley Retirement Group and Radley History Club. He also acts as archivist for Radley History Club and is a regular contributor to Radley News. Since April 2001, Stan has transferred the details from manuscript lists to computer spreadsheets of more than 70,000 photographs for the Oxfordshire Studies section of Westgate Library, Oxford . All this work is ongoing and is much enjoyed by Stan.
