Leopard Slug (Limax maximus)
This is one enormous and beautiful slug (if it is possible for slugs to be beautiful).
This individual was found taking an exploratory tour of the barbecue during the recent rainy weather.
(23 August 2010)
The same specimen as shown left, stretched out to his (?) full length of around 15cm.
This is a different individual to the one above, but found at the same time in the same vicinity - presumably the other half of a pair.
Tree slug (Limax marginatus)
This one is a bit more normal sized, but still quite large at around 6 cm, and likes to climb trees.
