Agenda of the Ordinary Meeting of Radley Parish Council

to be held on Thursday 25 February 2010 at 7.30 pm in the Church Room, Radley

The first ten minutes are available for the public to express a view or ask a question on relevant matters on the following agenda. The public are welcome to stay and observe the rest of the meeting. Members of the public wishing to speak should notify the Clerk in advance.

It is possible for the Parish Council to use the Village Emblem on its headed paper, and the Parish Council is asked to consider this.

Meeting Dates:

(a)

August Meeting of Parish Council: It is not possible to use the Church Room on 26 August 2010.

(b)

Village Fete: The Field and Sports Pavilion have been booked for 19 June 2010. The Parish Council is asked to agree that no charge will be made for this booking.

(c)

Save Radley Lakes Dog Show: The Field and Sports Pavilion have been booked for 3 July 2010. The Parish Council is asked to agree that no charge will be made for this booking.

14. Parish Plan – the next meeting of the Radley Parish Plan Steering Committee is on 1 March 2010 at 7 pm

15. Play policy

A policy has been adopted by the Children's Trust and the Oxfordshire Play Partnership is recommending that all Councils adopt this policy. The Parish Council is asked to consider this recommendation.

Oxfordshire Rural Community Council – Vibrant Rural Community and the ORCC's 90th Birthday: The Parish Council is invited to participate by completing details to include the community in a unique county book. In addition we are invited to highlight one feature of the community and the WI has asked that the Parish Council puts forward the Community Shop.

Oxfordshire Association of Local Councils – January/February edition of Update for Members (emailed to Councillors): The one item on which action is required is the need to look at the new Standing Orders prepared by NALC and recommended for adoption by Parish Councils.
