Agenda for the Forthcoming Meeting of Radley Parish Council

to be held on Thursday, 28 Aug 08 at 7.30 pm in the Church Room, Radley.

Councillor Alison Rooke, Chairman of the District Council, will be coming along at 7.30 pm to meet the Parish Councillors and learn about the work of the Parish Council.
The first ten minutes are available for the public to express a view or ask a question on relevant matters on the following agenda. The public are welcome to stay and observe the rest of the meeting. Members of the public wishing to speak should notify the Clerk in advance.

A letter from the Station Manager at Didcot Power Station, dated 24 July 2008, is attached for information.

Vale of White Horse District Council is supporting this event through Oxfordshire Waste Partnership
10. New Village Hall
The Parish Council may wish to consider its response to the emergent Save Radley campaign, see attached letter
In addition, a copy of an item posted on the Radley Village website at http://www.radleyvillage.org.uk/news/news0069.htm is attached.
11. Co-option of Parish Councillors
Two new Parish Councillors will be in post shortly, one to replace Mark Wren and the other to replace Martin Wilson. The Parish Council is asked to consider vacant places on its Committees created by these resignations.
