Radley Village Shop

Radley Village Shop is a community co-operative run by a team of some 60-70 volunteers with a paid shop manager. It offers:

  • Basic essentials (groceries, household and toiletries)
  • Fresh fruit and vegetables
  • Local produce
  • Newspapers and magazines (sorry we don’t deliver but you can reserve a copy for collection)
  • Freshly baked products and sandwiches
  • Ice-creams, sweets and crisps
  • Off-licence and cigarettes
  • Greetings cards and stationery
  • Books of 1st and 2nd class stamps
  • Hot drinks to take away
  • Cashback

All profits made by the Shop are for the benefit of the community.

Opening Hours from 17 May 2021

Monday to Friday: 7 am to 5 pm

Saturday: 8.30 am to 12.30 pm

Sunday: 9 am to 12 noon

Bank Holidays: 9 am to 12 noon

Closed Christmas Day




Other facilities

The Peachcroft Shopping Centre (map) in north Abingdon is about 20-30 minutes walk to the west of Radley railway station and includes:

  • Supermarket – Budgens
  • Chinese takeaway
  • Fish & Chip shop
  • Chemist – Lloyds Pharmacy
  • Hairdressser – Creations
  • Off Licence

Alternatively there are some similar shops in Kennington which is on the 35 bus route to Oxford.
