Radley Lakes Public Engagement

Radley Lakes is the area of former minerals workings to the south of Thrupp Lane.  Already popular, especially over the last six months, the area has much greater potential: as a haven of tranquillity, rich in nature, with a wide range of beautiful walks for healthy exercise.

A masterplan is being drawn up to turn this potential into reality [link], and we would like your ideas and views before it is finalised.  So come and see the displays and tell us what you think.

  • Saturday 19 September – Radley Village Hall, Gooseacre, 11am-5pm
  • Sunday 20 September – Marquee by Thrupp Lake, 1-5pm

As of 10 September we are still planning to go ahead with the consultation events on 19 and 20 September. They will be run in a covid-safe way. Social distancing will apply and you will be asked do give details for contact tracing and to wear a face covering in the village hall.

An online presentation has been recorded about the masterplan telling you more about the area and what is planned.  You can view the presentation by clicking here.

We would like to hear your views on the masterplan proposals. Please use the feedback form here and email it to lakes@radleyparish.org.
