Radley Retirement Group – Newsletter January 2017

Our December meeting was our annual “bring and share” Christmas party. As usual we had a wonderful display of food with plenty for all. We were entertained by a young lady by the name of Kate Wilkinson who sang for us. She also encouraged members to sing along with her. Judith gave us one of her quizzes to do while we ate our food.

A very big thank you to all the people who contributed to, or came to the Bazaar, which the Retirement Group organised this year. We were able to give a donation of £150 to Radley Good Neighbours scheme and £50 to the Village Hall.

The outing to Westfield shopping centre at Shepherds Bush was another good outing , enjoyed by those who went and the holiday to Skegness, organised by Dot, was another success. The weather was kind and the hotel was very good and made everyone very welcome.
