Successful Book Launch

Radley History Club’s new book, Radley Manor and Village: a thousand year story was successfully launched on 30th November in the Mansion at Radley College. The Mansion was built as their manor house by the Stonhouse family in the 1720s.

Richard Dudding (far left of top left photo) with Joyce Huddleston and Christine Wootton collaborated with Clare Sargent, Radley College’s archivist to research and write Radley Manor and Village. For the launch they had created fascinating displays, for instance Christine’s was about Radley college servants.

Many thanks to Radley Women’s Institute for providing hot drinks and delicious cakes in the entrance hall.

Radley manor and Village costs £15 and is available from Radley Village shop or from Radley History Club
