The Mansion House. Formerly known as Radley Hall, this impressive house was built during the 1720s by Rt Hon. Sir John Stonhouse, Bart., MP, Comptroller of the Royal Household 1713-1714, then occupier of the manor of Radley. His ancestor, George Stonhouse, was Clerk of the Green Cloth when he acquired the manor in 1560. |
