Planned temporary closure of Church Road, Radley 19th* July to 2nd September

* Updated start date

Oxfordshire County Council advise that a request has been received from M&J Evans Construction Ltd for a temporary road closure to apply to a length of Church Road whilst essential deep drainage  works are carried out.  This is to enable Pye Homes to lay sewer pipes in the road and at the same time construct a pedestrian crossing and reorganise the entrances to the car park for the Parish Council.

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is being made to implement the temporary closure and restriction and will operate from 19 July 2021. The estimated completion of the works is 2 September 2021. This is a 24 hour per day closure.

Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for those frontages within the closure area, subject to the progress of the works and liaison with the works supervisor.  Arrangements will be put in place for the bus service.

Find a copy of the drawing showing the extent of the closure and the alternative routes for traffic here.

Further information regarding the works may be obtained by contacting Chris Gillen at M&J Evans Construction Ltd on 01543 373766 or email Chris.Gillen@mjevansconstruction.co.uk
