Radley Retirement Group – Newsletter August 2021

Hello Everyone

We are all ready to welcome our members back to our regular monthly meeting.
Our first “get together” will be on Tuesday 10^th August in the Village Hall as usual at 2pm.  This will be a cream tea afternoon with first class entertainment provided.  So do come along and enjoy the afternoon. 

As you know we had to cancel the trips to the Cambridge Botanical Gardens and to Bucklers Hard.  We hope to re-schedule these at a later date,  probably next year.

We would like to invite two more members onto the Committee.  If you can spare about 1 hour a Month to attend Committee meetings we would welcome you with your fresh ideas.  It isn’t a difficult job but very rewarding and you are able to have an input into the Clubs activities.  The more committee members we have the less work it is for each of the other Committee members.

Holidays

1. The holiday to Eastbourne is now full which is very good.
2. The holiday to Majorca is going ahead as long as government restrictions allow.

General

Chris has now set up a Facebook page for members.  This can only be accessed by other members, so is not “public”.  If you would like to see this page on Facebook please contact Chris and he will give you access.  On here he will post any items of news that may arise between meetings.
